This program prepares the students to function as an entry on a healthcare team. The focus will be on preparing the student to provide direct care to the patient/resident, promote comfort measures; to collect record and report data to licensed personnel. Principal of critical thinking, team membership ethics, caring communication and cultural sensitivity are integrated throughout the course. The program includes classroom, laboratory, and clinical care experiences.
